Overview

The Olympic and Paralympic Games Tokyo 2020 Torches will be exhibited in 62 municipalities in Tokyo!

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government (TMG) will host a travelling exhibition of the Olympic and Paralympic Games Tokyo 2020 torches at the TMG office and 62 municipalities in Tokyo. Visit the exhibition venue nearest you for a wonderful opportunity to see these valuable items up close.

Exhibition Schedules and Venues

From Monday 2 November 2020 to Friday 9 July 2021

〇 Restart of the Traveling Exhibition

The exhibitions have been postponed from 26 April to 20 June 2021 in light of the declaration of a state of emergency for the new coronavirus infection. However, the exhibition will restart from 21 June 2021 following cancellation of the state of emergency.

The details of the exhibition schedules and venues are shown below.

Exhibition Schedule at the TMG Office

Schedule Monday 2 November to Tuesday 10 November 2020
Hour 9:30 a.m. to 6:15 p.m.
Venue Olympics and Paralympics Flags Exhibition, 2nd Floor North,
Tokyo Metropolitan Government No. 1 Building

Note) We would like to ask all visitors for their cooperation with measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and ensure safety.

        • Please refrain from visiting the exhibition venue if you have a fever, or if you are coughing, sneezing, etc.
        • We would like to ask all visitors to wear masks or other protection.
        • Please ensure sufficient distance (about 1 to 2 meters) in waiting lines.
        • We would like to ask all visitors to limit their visit to the exhibits in a short amount of time when the venue is crowded.

Other

  • Please note that infection control measures are being taken at each venue based on the TMG’s “Roadmap to Overcoming COVID-19 – to build a society where the ‘new normal’ is firmly established”. We would like to ask all visitors for their cooperation with measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and ensure safety.
  • The scheduled exhibition may be suspended in the future depending on the novel coronavirus situation.
