Spectaculars and City Dressing
The Tokyo Metropolitan Government (TMG) is committed to building up momentum to the Tokyo 2020 Games through the Olympic and Paralympic symbols and the statues of the Games Mascots, as well as City Dressing, etc.
Spectaculars
The Olympic and Paralympic symbols, the statues of the Games Mascots and so on will be set up in major places in Tokyo.

After getting off at the Cable car Takaosan station, you can go to Yakuoin Sanmon Gate by a wheelchair, but because there are many slopes between the Cable car Takaosan station and Yakuoin Sanmon Gate, a wheelchair user need an assistant.
In addition, from Yakuoin to the summit, there are unpaved, gravel roads, steps, and steep slopes making it difficult to climb in a wheelchair.

City Dressing
Competition venues and Tokyo 2020 Live Site venues and their surroundings as well as roads, airports, railway stations, etc. used by athletes, Games Family, and spectators will be dressed with flags, banners, and other decorative elements featuring unified designs to brighten up the Games.
Flags on Streetlights
(Marunouchi Square at Tokyo Station)
Build up excitement for the Games by using flags and banners of a consistent design to effectively decorate areas where athletes, Game-related personnel and spectators will pass through, such as roads, airports and train stations, etc., centering on those around the competition venues and Tokyo 2020 Live Sites.
We will use, as the designs common to the Olympics and Paralympics Games, the look of the Games decorations to be used at the competition venues.
