Sapporo Odori Park had been designated as the venue for the Olympic Marathon and Olympic Race Walking events. Located in the centre of Sapporo City, the park is approximately 1.5km long and covers an area of about 7.8ha. With beautiful flowerbeds, green grass and trees, the park is a popular event venue and attracts many tourists and citizens all year round.
